(iOS version crashes at launch)

Hi, I purchased the iOS version of NecroDancer, and I can't seem to be able to play it, as it crashes at the loading screen after the intro. The only time anything changes is if I reinstall it. It will then ask me if I want to link the game to iCloud. Regardless of the answer, it crashes after I select my answer. Is there anything I should/can do?

(Device: iPhone 5c
OS: iOS 10, most recent public beta.
Signed into Game Center.
Over a gigabyte of hardware space remaining.)

Hi! Sorry to hear that your game is crashing. When this issue happens, do you get any kind of Message/Error/etc? Please post any messages you're seeing.

Some general things you could try, if you haven't already:
Which other devices are trying to sync with your iPhone? Are all devices logged into the same iCloud account using the same Apple ID? Did you try doing a full restart on all devices that are connected the iCloud?

Thanks for the reply.

I get no message, just a crash to my home menu.

no devices are trying to sync with my phone.

The only device linked to my icloud is my phone and I just tried a full restart. Nothing changed.

I've same issue, the app crash before main menu.

I'm on an ipad running ios 10.

Hi all! We've been receiving a few reports of similar iOS 10 crashes. I'm currently in the process of trying to reproduce the issue on my own device here.

Whether I can repro the problem or not, I'll be forwarding this information over to our porting company for them to take a look at. Hopefully we can find a fix for this and get the game patched ASAP. Thanks for your patience.

(You can continue to post here if you find any other information, error messages, crash logs, etc that you think might help.)

If it helps, this is happening on my iPhone 5 after iOS 10 upgrade. The music doesn't play at all during the initial cinematic and the game crashes after the Loading... message appears and before the "Touch to start" message.

Iphone 5 here, still not able to start the game,
pretty disappointed with the speed at which this problem is adressed.

Sorry for the delayed reply! We are currently working on a patch that should hopefully address the crashing issue. We're going to get this patch out as soon as possible.

Hi all! We released a game patch earlier today that should hopefully address the crashing issue. Please let me know if you run into any other issues after applying the update.
