Sadly, there are some people who just want to ruin everyone's fun by hacking to put themselves higher on the leaderboards. Use this thread to report any users who are clearly hacking, so that the scores can be removed.
"Quick restart" is the most powerful spell.

Well, I think it's more likely they just wanted to show that they can. After all, scores of 10 million are no less obviously hacked than scores for dailies that haven't started. It really has nothing to do with not being smart and everything to do with how disruptive they want to be. Scores like that may be a bit annoying, but they're easy to ignore.
A devious hacker would actually finish a run and fabricate his score to be the current high score + 102 or some other random, comparatively low number. If someone else wanted to prove that they're hacking, they would have to watch the entire run and keep a very close eye on the gold counter.

I wonder how hard it would be to run through the replays server-side checking for consistency.

The problem is that replays are too inconsistent, and desyncs are pretty common even on legitimate runs. I do think it needs to (and probably will) be addressed in some way other than reporting them in a thread, but I don't know enough about game programming to know what the issues are. Like, is forcing the score to be set to 0 upon the start of the run any potential use?
