Changes in Alpha 0.3, 0.0.13-b470

  • New save location, allowing for save versioning! Saves can now be found in Documents/My Games/Phantom Brigade/Saves.
  • Lots of balance adjustments to speed, weight, heat, fatigue, and concussion
  • New overheat mechanic: overheat now damages mechs over time instead of possibly crashing them
  • Shield actions no longer cost heat
  • New balancing for ricochet chance on projectiles
  • New thumbnail art for events
  • Time starts automatically after combat
  • Added landing animation to deploying units
  • Lots of bug fixes!
  • New main menu music

Fixed issues:

  • Enemy units will no longer target a single PB mech at the start of combat
  • Fixed mechs t-posing when loading a game in combat
  • Fixed an issue where Sleipnir mech was missing a right arm internal part
  • Multiple fixes to saves during danger state/fallback
  • Fixed repair progress not saving or loading
  • Fixed saving and loading during events
  • It is no longer possible to salvage after being defeated by a patrol
  • Fixed an issue where smokescreens permanently parilyzed patrols on the overworld
  • Fixed bullet ricochet when shooting a heavy shotgun at point-blank range
  • Fixed positions of convoys and patrol squads on the overworld not being loaded properly
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to get softlocked if player engaged with the broken-down convoy in Norbotten while in the danger state
  • Fixed an issue where player couldn’t earn hope if they skipped the starting province
  • Outpost in starting province now drops L2 loot instead of L1
  • Newer saves are now shown at the top of the save menu
